After disputing the ten stages of the 41th race of the Rally Dakar 2019, the hardest race of the last years is over. And FN Speed Team wants to communicate the outstanding result gained by its team: All its teams complete and climb the podium of the Finishers.
In the SxS category, with the Can-am Side by Side vehicle:
Claude Fornier and his co-driver Charly Gotlib, wearing #348, have shown us their great experience with the brilliant result of the 17th place at Side by Side. These veterans of the motor world have been constant day by day without making mistakes and have achieved this meritorious place.
Roberto Carraza and his co-driver Juan Carlos Fernández, wearing #416, have achieved in their first Dakar the magnificent 19th place at Side by Side, and the 6th place of debutant in their category in the Dakar. Stage by stage they were improving and adapting it to the side by side vehicle, which allowed them to move up their place. Not only their dream of running the Dakar has been fullfilled but also they have managed its completion.
In the Auto category within the Utv-Open subcategory:
Dani Solà and his co-driver Pedrito López, wearing #415, have achieved the 39th place of the General, 6th place of their Utv-Open category and 6th place in debutant of the Rally Dakar in their category. These experienced, driver and co-driver, have pushed the limits of their machine at each stage, gaining magnificent stages of 1st place in their category, and to be among the best in the car classification in more than 3 stages. But in some stage they had to repair their side by side vehicle, wasting valuable time and this has prevented them from being in the header of the final classification.
Joan Font and his co-driver Juan Félix Bravo, wearing #368, have achieved the 40th place of the General and the 7th place of their Utv-Open category. Very pleased of completing the Rally Dakar, their pace has been steady not to make mistakes and therefore to avoid wasting time repairing the vehicle and reaching the finish line at every stage.
Adrián Santos and his co-driver Oriol Vidal, wearing #434, have achieved the magnificent 22th place in the General, 2nd place at the UTV-Open and 2nd place in debutant of Rally Dakar in their category. Stage by stage their classification rose to be positioned in the auto´s times. This achievement exceeded their previous expectations and this has been possible thanks to their constant and good pace without risking in order not to break anything (in the vehicle) and therefore not to waste time.
